How long did it take you to find your horse?

Did you have problems when they came through? (please elaborate!)

Years.

I have had other horses, it finally took me to stop actively looking - for the right horse to fall into my lap. He wasn't as expected either!!

I was after a flashy, TB type - ended up with a slightly hairy, ginger IDx, but he's my two eyes and wouldn't be without him!
 
With the exception of my very first horse (who was the 2nd one I saw), I have bought all my others there and then on the same day. But then again, they've all been bought as weanlings when I wasn't particularly looking - each one has been a case of me being in the right place at the right time. (With the exception of Reine, a retired broodmare, who was given to me FOC after I had her for ages on permanent loan to act as nanny to the above youngsters).
