As title really, I have a two year old (three in July) mini Shetland who has had new teeth in her jaw for months. Can’t seem to find online how long they can take to erupt so thought I’d ask on here. I’m worried that they are trapped by baby teeth that won’t get out the way!

The centre teeth should be coming through and may take a while to erupt fully which should be in the next few months with others coming over the following year or so, being small a Shetland may have a rather full cramped mouth so it is worth getting it looked at by a dentist if you are concerned but at this stage she sounds about right for her age, the bumpy jaw can remain for a year or so while they are teething..
