How long does haylage last - one season or two?

I've just bought in a lot of haylage (more than I needed) and I was wondering whether it will keep until next year if properly stored etc.


Will haylage last more than a year for example or do I need to use it up?

OOer, Ive got some from last year I was going to use. Bags not perforated. I hope I can use it still.

I'm using last year's at the moment and its fine. Shouldn't be a problem if it is properly sealed and no tears in the wrapping

I used to make my own and it lasted 2 years.

some I have from last year is darker and more tobacco-y! but still sweet smelling and not mouldy and the horses still like it, maybe not in bulk but alongside their hay. I tend to keep a bit stockpiled each winter as when snows are bad we cant get any more delivered.
