How long for worms to go?

We got our new puppy 2 weeks ago and took her to the vet for her injections who prescribed a course of panacur for 3 days as she was really wormy. So we gave her the doses last weekend but yesterday she did a poo and a worm was in it and then today she did a poo and there was worm in it :s

The only way I can describe what the worm looked like was a bean sprout... We've never had dogs before so don't know what sort of worms they are.

How long does it take for worms to go usually? We've got an appointment at the vets for Friday for her next injection but wondering if we should take her back sooner?

I think if I remeber rightly when I got mine and he was very wormy, the vet gave me panucur for every 2 weeks for a while and then monthly. Your best thing to do is give them a call, you may be able to get some more wormer without a vets consultation call.
