Lil has been on Relax Me for just over two weeks now with no noticeable effect at all. I'll give her the rest of the tub now I've bought it but wondering if people think I should have seen a difference? I would have assumed that if it was going to work you'd see it before the end of the loading period?

depends why your horse is excitable tbh. my mare goes a bit daft when spring grass comes through and thats because of a calcium magnesium imbalance. but if its just their nature think its a bit more tricky? why have you put your horse on it?

She rears and bronks when she's not getting her own way. She hasn't done it in the school in ages but will do it if asked to hack on her own or at her first show today. She also has a separation anxiety and weaves.

aw bless wee soul! how old is she? my wee horse had separation anxiety and used to box walk. however ive found the calmer i am and ignore it the better she is, though it really did stress me out to see her upset. how long have you had her?

hmmm, as much as i dont want to sound patronising i think you will just have to give her time. alot of horses at six can still be very green, that was how old mine was when i got her. she had had the same home since she was born and this was a racing stud! where she lived a busy life i would imagine with lots of routine. i got her from the sales and i think she was in shock to come home with me to a new stables, new routine and new life with noone (people wise and horses) who she knew. so she was very stressed, hated to be left in on her own though riding her was ok as i found it kept her mind was busy though now that i think she did used to nap out hacking. but she has calmed down enormously (touch wood!) and she is a happy horse who will happily come in to her stable without any pals. persevre and have patience. im sure she will calm down, lots of turnout and spend time just being around her. if your RI says she is calmer with you there is improvement already!
