How long should rug-cleaning take?

I sent a bundle of rugs away to be cleaned a couple of weeks ago. A complete mixture ranging from sheets to HW TOs. There were also some repairs etc to be done. I know I left it until the last minute to do but am now desperate for rugs (as sent most of them away). I just wondered how long people normally wait for their rugs to come back.

At this time of year it can take several weeks, depending on how busy the people you sent them too are. My place warns me when I drop them off if they have a huge backlog. Repairs always add to the time taken.

I normally get mine back in a week but like Polar_Bear says, depends how busy they are I suppose.

The next day usually. My rug cleaner is really good. I always tell her I'll leave them a week but always get a text the following day to say they are done.

im at the yard where robinsons rug wash is, and at teh moment there really busy, but my m8 brings a bundle every week and there usually done within the week,

last time i took a bundle (12+) it took her just over 36hrs to do them all, including the reproofing and repairs

Blimey - quick turnaround! We are near Newmarket though, and she had just had 90 or so in from a trainer!

I sent 18 off, some had to be repaired and they were all quite dirty. Anyway, ironically she called me yesterday afternoon and they are all done and should have been dropped off at mine today (will check on way home)

I handed 7 in for wash, repair & re-proof and got a text back within the week saying they were ready.
