how long until its too late to re-take my ptt exam?

i took my ptt exam in about september 2012 but failed the group lesson part then just gave up and decided to leave it. im now interested in re-taking the group lesson part and was wondering how long until it is too late to re-take one section and you have to do the whole thing again? can anyone help?
