He's still higher at the back than the front, and his front legs are coming out of the same hole! He plaits too :(

I was hoping to show him - will his front rearrange itself any more or is that it now? He's just turned 5 I should add..

Thanks

My connie has just turned 5 and people have just started to comment on how much he's changed and matured.
I am aware they can take until 7 to completely stop maturing though.
It will all hapen in the blink of an eye :)

Til 7?? So there's still time for him to shape up? But surely the legs are where they are, if you get my drift... Excuse my appaling ignorance

Yes, when mine spent some time at the vets about a year ago they said how immature he looked and in his experience they mature around 7.
I understand about the leg thing. Mine had the same problem but when their chest fills out it all begins to look in proportion.
All is not lost I'm sure

mine is almost a full bred connie, and he's 6 and he still has a little filling out to do, esp in the chest department. he's filled out quite alot this spring

I have the opposite problem! Mine is just 3 and he is enormous - huge wide chest, could drive a bus between his front legs, round as a barrel (xxw saddle tree though not fat), bum high obviously with a neck completely taking over his shoulder and front end. Mentally however he is just a brainless thug, though not in a nasty way. He has no spacial awareness but fortunately good manners. I'm waiting for some definition to set in - am getting fed up of the brick sh*t house comments :-(

Perhaps we should post pics to compare!
