will it take for the hair to grow back from a cut , and how will i no if it will scar, my horse cut his leg 5 weeks ago still no hair , please anyone with advice.thanks

If the cut was bad enough to damage the hair roots/follicles, then it will probably never grow back. Sometimes, the hair follicles are only damaged a little and the hair grows back white. Or it may be that the area just needs a bit longer to settle down.

You could try Cornucresin (sp?) Worked for a pony with a broken (cut) knee.

Aloe vera, or arnica are very good for helping hair grow back! You are at an advantage that it is a fresh wound! My mare has no hair on the front of her withers have tried everything but its so old now that nothing will work...she had it before i got her so no idea how long its been there!
