we took my boy to a school which is bigger than the one on are yard for a trip out really and a play but it all went wrong. the lorry which was just back from its mot and all ok so we thought. all tacked up and ready to go i was stood at the bottom of the ramp and mum was leading him and his back leg went though the ramp he managed to get it out and shipped taking the trussets with him and slipped off the edge of the ramp mum underenth him he tryed so hard not to hurt her it was amazing and trying hard to get up he slipped again crushing her underneth him i screamd it was the worst thing iv every seen. mum had blood everywhere and his leg was bleeding to. the ppl were great helped us out managed to get a friend to come with trailer and bless him he just walked on and hes walked away with out being lame just grazes im riding him again now and mum she was off work for two days very battered but ok how they both came out of it i do not know hugs to them both

What a horrible thing to happen and I hope they both recover soon. it is worth everybody remembering that a lorry test is only a mechanical check and that you should check your ramp and box safety yourself, or get a professional to do it for you

I wouldn't use that company to MOT a lorry again!

Hope you're all okay!

Sophos, the lorry floor and ramp form no part of the MOT - they don't even look at it unless being paid extra to do a service or safety check. Not their responsibility but there does appear to be some kind of misconception that these will be checked

Crikey what a shock for you all. Thank goodness everyone is ok - there is a lesson there for all of us so thank you for posting this!
Hope your mum isn't too sore tomorrow!
