how many dressage tests can you remember at once?!

im going to rabson manor for the bhs wiltshire dressage on sunday....and im doing all three tests, argh!!!!!!!! i know im probably being a pansy, but i hate having tests called as i cannot then give full attention to my horse! i hope i dont mix them up............

I did three tests a couple of weeks ago. Two prelims and a novice and i remembered all of them. I am lucky though, in that i only have to read through a test a couple of times and i know it, which is quite helpful. You could always just have a caller for the last one.

I only do one or two tests - find that's plenty for me and my horse, especially if there's a bit of a gap in between then and I have to warm-up again.... i'm quite lucky and once learned a test stays in my mind so probably know quite a few!

Ive got three to learn for Sunday! I was really good i would memorise them after a quick look and never went wrong then this winter i said that and famous last words i went wrong and then the next few times i competed i would go wrong when i had never gone wrong in my life before!
So now ive lost confidence that ill remember it and tend to want to have it read but like you MixElz i find having it read distracting! Oh the dilemmas!!!

I can do three, i havent go confused so far. I dont like having reader because it is so annoying if they make a mistake and i was taught that it give a bad impression, not sure if that is so true these days though.

None - even having one read last week end, I still went wrong LOL! I used to be quite good at remember one, but when it came to 2, that was it, all muddled up and confusion follows! Last sunday I did my first comps in 16 months and thought I'd got the first one OK, but had a memory blank in the warm up so collared a poor girl into reading for me, I mis-heard one of the instructions and carried on past F when I should have been going across the diagonal

Still came 5th even with the 2 point deduction

I can do one propoerly then half remember the 2nd one and try to have someody call it just as a back up. Stops me having a complete blank half way through!
