how many horses have you had??

Crystal- 4yr NF mare. Really swetheart on the ground, but I lost my confidence on her after falling off one to many times.

Lottie- 15.5 grey mare. My mums. got her when she was 2. Very spooky mare and the most accident prone horse I've ever known.

Gypsy- 13.3 spotty/roan cob mare. Strong, fast, but looked after me perfectly. PTS in 2008 aged 30ish. We'd had her for 20 years.

Sceptre- 15.1 bay PBA who we bred from Gypsy. Opinonated cowbag when she wanted to be! PTS April 2011 due to liver damage :(

Amber- 15.2 chestnut TB mare. Been to hell and back with this mare, but we have such a strong bond now, will never sell her.

Jethro- grey shetland. Brought him for my hubby. Sweet little chap, but certainly had a shetland streak. Sold him to what I thought was a good family, then saw him for sale a few weeks later

Sirrius-TB x PRE colt. Bred from Amber (she was in foal when I brought her). Lost him at 4 weeks due to joint infection.

Binky- rescue NF. Currently on loan to my mum. Dude of a pony, love him to bits and miss him so much. He has laminitus and just cant cope on our grass, but is fine on mum's field

Blossom- 2yr old cob x native. brought as companion for Amber. Friendlist pony I've ever met, and has chilled Amber out. Hoping to ride her in the future.

Ok my list is rather long!

1) Cuddles 12hh ish grey on loan - super cute, he just kept doing the rounds as people outgrew him and he taught us all how to behave ;)

2) Cherry 14hh new forest x, my own pony, lovely and super nappy but broke her pedal bone and had to be retired

3) Jasmine 15hh Anglo Arab on loan, reared a lot! Sent it back after it nearly buried one of it's front feet in my head (I was only 14!)

4) April 15.1 on loan, amazing eventer that taught me loads but eventually had to go back to her owner as her other horse needed company

5) Connie 15.1 on share, had loads of fun SJ and her owner was a joy to have about, best competing years on this one, eventually did both her check ligaments unfortunately.

6) ? (can't remember his name!) Owner of Connie and I got him on loan whilst Connie was healing but he had back problems and went back

7) Poppy 15.1 3yo Quarter horse x First horse I bought as an adult (well 18 so just!) paid £300 and she taught me balance! Never did anything outragous but spent 99% of time going sideways and leaping about! But it was the constant destroying of fields in livery yards that made me eventually sell her after 5 years of fun, tears and craziness!

8) ? 15.2 chestnut gelding on loan, but turned out to have eye problems so went back shortly after arriving

9) Toby, 15.2 bay nappy git! Had on loan but was soo nappy eventually sent him back

10) Kiz, 15.3 Chestnut TB mare and boy did she live up to her stereotype, bucked like a goodun and not for me (new owner loved her and was very successful) but did direct swap for -

11) Storm 14.3h 3yo coloured gypsy vanner. The sweetest kindest boy you can imagine, gave me my confidence back after Toby and Kiz and was my soul mate. Made huge mistake of selling him after 3 years to injuries (Mine and nothing to do with Storm). Have recently tracked him down at 14yrs and he is in lovely home

12) Conker, 15.1 chestnut bought after a long break but was too much for me so sold him back to his owners (at a huge loss!)

13) Big Hairy (Current model!) - 16hh coloured m/w cob on loan, adore him!

Am hoping to stay with Big Hairy for as long as his owner will let me, he is the most characterful gentle giant yet still keeps me on my toes with occasional devilish side! :D

1) 1st pony i had on loan - 11.3hh (somewhere around that) black pony called woody, was fairly strong, deadn scared of tractors and i didnt have him for too long.

2) 13.2/3hh dun new forest pony called dolly on loan - Got her on loan when i was 7 ish and she was 3/4 just broken and started riding. Taught her to pick up her feet which she hated (many broken leadropes ;) ) very nappy lazy little pony who used to buck in fields (fell of many times), taught her to jump and eventually got upto 3ft :)

3) 12.2hh coloured pony called Louie was the first horse that my mum bought me for my 10th birthday. Very strong whizzy pony, huge jump but quite naughty at times. Nearly made me give up but after that won jumping and showing classes. Had a very strong bond and would do anything to please, such a shame he wasnt 14hh or id still own him :(

4) 16.1hh TB i got in 2007 - had many different problems as he is accident prone but he makes up for it with his personality. Had lots of fun with him, wonderful days out hunting with him, amazing times out winning showjumping which i never expected :) and very good xc days. lovely horse to own and ride but sadly has DJD and is lightly hacking and maybe retiring :(

inbetween these horses i have rode many of my friends for them aswell as competeing and been riding all the problem horses :)
