have ridden your horse regularly when they are staying at the vets?

My boy has had a sinus bone flap removed and is recouperating before being allowed home - the vet said I could come and ride him so I am hacking out about 3 times per week. The hacking is absolutely great around there - its like having my horse on holiday apart from the hole in his face at the catheter in his neck

Anybody else done this?

I'm going to be riding Hattie when she is at the vets to be AI'd. She'll be there for at least a week/2 weeks. And she can't be turned out so they are letting me come and ride her after work, which is great as its only 10mins away from work.

What sort of foal are you going to breed from her?

Its a bit weird at first going there to ride - there are lots of sick horses and ponies coming and going - and yours going out for a hack

I'm hopefully going to breed a hunter type. I want something I can hunt in the winter and show in hunter classes during the summer.

About 16hh to 16.2hh. Hattie is 15.3hh and potential stallions are about 16.2hh. Lostock Huntman who I am looking at next weekend is 16.1hh.
