How many riding instructors do you use?!

Just wondering if people have a 'general allround' instructor or if people use different ones for flat and jumping? Does it work?! I am torn between two instructors- one is pretty much jumping and the other is a dressage instructor. To be honest I need help in all areas

I do 3 training camps a year with a FBHS, have 2 lessons a month (one on each horse) with a visiting dressage trainer (who also trains with the Fellow, so pretty alike), and have jumping lessons with a friend and colleague of mine who is an II. As long as they are singing from roughly the same hymnsheet, it works well, and I know what I want from the training. Most of the people I teach would use the same people as above, so that works too!

See, I am having this problem at the moment, my dressage instructor wants my horse to go in quite a different way from how my SJ instructor wants him to go. Was wondering about finding an eventer to go to for lessons as they are used to producing horses to do all 3 disciplines, which I kind of want my lad to be able to do!!

Two, one at a RS to help me mprove my skills on schoolmaster types and one who helps me with my green horse and will be schooling him for me as well.

three, pickle is kept at a RS where there are 3 good instructors I just go with who is avalable and what I want to do

I have my favourite but I generally go for RC group lessons and whoever they have booked that week.

I have the same instructor in London every fortnight on a hired horse.

Have 1 for sj & 1 for dressage, luckily they both teach in a similar way & want the pony to go pretty much the same, so works well, & if the dressage trainer has been away I have gone to the sj trainer for dressage help too!!

I have two, one who specializes in dressage whom i have once or twice a week depending on time and the jumping one of whom i have once a month.

I have four- 2 for dressage, 1 for jumping and 1 for cross country
I only have 2 dressage instructors because they both work on my yard, and one works on sat and one on sun.

Two, and I only jump with one of them, but mainly just because of when I can fit in lesson.

Sadly my favourite has left the yard, and my jumping is stagnating as a result...

I have two, one for dressage and one for dressage and SJ. Well the first one can do SJ as well (she's an eventer so mostly does jumping really) but I'm not sure my nerves would be in tact after a lesson with her!
I quite like my mix actually, the first instructor is taught by the classical bigwigs such as Arthur Kottas and Charles de Kunffy, and teaches as such. I have lessons on her school horses. My other (regular) instructor is taught by Natalie Hobday, who is based in Germany and is trained by Jonny Hilberath, and so my regular instructor's style is more "German". I feel I get the best of both worlds though and as long as I don't get two conflicting sets of instructions (which generally I don't!) then I'm quite happy!
