You can sell them as people can transport them.
Oh and they also stack really neatly in barns and stables. The round ones tend not to be able to shuffle themselves in 12 x 12 stables unless you have Mr. Universe to be able to throw large round bales on top!

10 in ours - it depends on the density setting of the baler

well a big round bale last my horse around 2months, feeding alongside hayledge. i reckon i would use 1-2small bales a week, so i would say at least 8+ small bales per big bale, probably more, using my rubbish calculations
big round bales are very compressed and contain lots and lots of hay

I was quoted as 10 to 12 bales in a round one. There is no decent hay around here at a reasonable price, so I've had to get the big round bales and hope between the 3 of us on the yard that we can move them!

Minimum of 10 in ours, packed very tightly and super heavy. Prob. more like 12.

Depending on density (how tightly baled) usually about 10 - 12. Much prefer small bales for their ease of use.
