How many strides for dressage arena please?

I normally have a measuring tape to measure out where to put markers in the field but I can't find it! Can anyone suggest how many of my strides it would be in between markers please? Doesn't have to be exact, just a rough idea so I can play around tonight. Thanks!!

long or short arena?

short arena is 20x40m so probably 20x40 steps ish!
long arena is 20x60m

Middle letters in the middle and the other letters I *think* are 5m from the corners so 5 strides?

I thought it was 6 meters from the corners? In anycase. walk the long side, counting your strides, then split the number and walk back, that's your half way. Then roughly three quarters the number of strides from the middle to the corner is your corner markers. Roughly.

Ha ha. ... Just done this exact thing TT his morning. 20m = 24 average strides. So 40 metres = 48 strides. The the corner letters are 6 m in from the corners and that is 7 strides. I am five feet 8 and this was an average walking stride. Good luck.
