If it has dogs in it the little fella will watch it We watch dog squad and he's always glued to the telly when thats on. Some of the dogs he just watches but if he doesn't like them he'll growl at them till they are off the screen He's the same with any program or advert. If a dog appears on screen (It doesn't have to make a noise) he watches it.
So I don't think he'll be a good test dog for there theory.
Not a chance, the mute button gets pressed as soon as any animal ad comes on as they drive my dog wild. Just annoys me and would more likely make me not buy a product.
I would love to arrest the plonker who comes up at unsociable hours to run his unsociable dogs on the field and not pick up their day-glo orange poop, after them, then we go flying on the remnants!!! Or try to hop over it, hence the poo dance
Monty did run up to the TV when the ad was on and I told him he couldn't have any. lol
Seriously though he did react to it but my other two just ignored it
If you click Hedwards link, you can post a comment direct to FB about the ad/food. (like I might have done) Most people are saying how crap the food is.
Both of ours are avid tv watchers, I have photos of Evie standing with her nose glued to the screen during Send in the Dogs. She was lying on the floor just in front of the tv when the ad came on, no reaction at all at first, then she lifted her head looked at the screen then put her head down again ! Pickle didn't even waken up
When we puppy sat last year, the puppy absolutely loved the original series of The Twilight Zone every time there was dramatic music his little head popped up
Having ignored the Bakers ad, Pickle is now standing with his nose pressed to the tv watching Big Fat Gypsy Wedding, not quite sure if we should be worried
Just saw it, one dog paid no attention - the other raised her head from her bed, watched it (without too much interest) and then promptly went back to sleep!!
Even though I made the OP I completelly forgot about it and havent seen it yet to see if either of mine would react!
I did watch 'Magestic White Horses' on H&C TV last night (about the Spanish Riding school in Vienna)- all the stallions shouting and making a lot of noise certainly got their attention!
I've not seen it yet, I heard about it on the radio though and they discussed it for about 5 minutes before the word "bakers" was even used!!! Which surprised me a bit. I don't think it's going to increase sales much. People will watch it to see if their dogs respond, and then get over it!
