How many people can safely ride (flatwork only) in a 40m x30m outdoor arena at the same time? Assuming everyone is reasonably sensible and understands passing left to left etc.
We have a 50m x 50m at work (I think? Bossanova?) and I seem to remember the rules being not more than four at a time. Two maximum when the resident beginner is about as the steering is dodgy! We had max two lungeing, two riding or probably five riding in the 25m x 60m at my old yard. So probably four or five?
