I've been asked by a friend if i will back her 6 yr old for her. She's done all the ground work but doesn't feel confident enough to do the final bit.
He's only now being backed as he was rescued by the WHW as a yearling severely ammiciated and it was thought he would never be ridden, but she and her husband have really built him up walking out in hand and vets have now sais there's no reason he cant be worked.
Anyway, having done Monty myself i have no idea how much something like that would cost. Their good friends so i dont want to go over the top, but have got a good half hour journey in each direction each time i go over as i haven't got room for him to come to me.
How much would you charge them?
