How much (approx) does haylage weigh?

Depends on how much moisture is retained in the haylage - the drier the haylage, the lighter the net will weigh.

Haylege is about 65% dry matter, so I feed mine approx 11kg a day (equivalent to 7kg of hay), plus 8 hours of grazing. I split this over 2 very large nets, so in my case about 5.5kg!

well, I guess it depends on the horse, their size/weight, workload, type of haylage i.e wet or dry, type of grass etc.......
Mine are on fairly new cut haylage at the mo, they look well and as it's new am being careful with it: so one gets about 4.5kg at night, the other 5.5kg at night and then they both get 3-4kg approx a.m.
In the winter then obviously they get more than this!
