How Much Are Straw Bales Nowadays?

I want to put Ethel on straw, as I was thinking it would be cheaper, but I've asked at a tack shop who wanted £3.70 per small bale and it seems everywhere I look they're £3-£4. Is this how much they are now, or are there places where they're still cheap?

Im not sure how much from a shop but my YO makes his own and charges £1.75 per small bale. I suppose u could ring around local farmers.

I get straw 3 bales for £5 and free delivery.
