I'd say quite a fair decent weight,but it's just all down to his conformation/build/substance really?

Agree with above, however to give you an idea, my mum who is a total novice learned on Monty. He was 17hh full tb and aged 29 so not much muscle. She was 14 1/2 stone and he was absolutely fine taking her on long hacks etc.
I'd say the horse above would carry a whole lot more.

If I could work out how to post a pic I would. He takes a 7ft rug, full-x full bridle, leg at a corner type. Im 6ft and he fits me well.

If he's more ID stamp then I'd say 16-17stone,especially if it's just a one off?
