How much did your natives grow in height from 3?

Just out of interest wondered how many inches in height your natives grew from the age of 3 upwards?

Also if dentist said horses teeth were maturing slowly does that mean his height is proberbly behind?

Nothing. I'm pretty sure he hit about 15hh by the age of two and finished all his upwards growing by three, but I know some can grow an extra inch or two when they are 2/3.

My highland was about 13.2 at three years old, he was nearly 14 hands at four, now, at five he is almost 14.1. I think he will probably go up a little more yet!

I've had a few Cleveland Bays with my Mum now, and we are very good friends with a life long breeder.
We recon they dont fully mature till about 5 or 6!

Well i have a 3 year old welsh d and his brother and sister were 15.2hh but we seem to be struggling to get to 15hh, so annoying

My welsh sec d 13.2hh at 3 nearing 4 he's crept slowly to nearly 14hh, I think he's one of the slow growing and matureing type. but they said he should make 14hh-14.2hh on the advert.

I bought my NF at 5 1/2 months old he was around 13.3hh at 3 and this month is 4 and is around 14.1hh and still a touch bum high so I am hoping he will finish at 14.2hh.
Both parents were 13.2hh so I am very pleased he has grown bigger than I thought he would and is now stopping with me as he has grown big enough for me to ride.
