How much do you haggle?

As per the title, either the overall amount or what % of the asking price do you generally hope to haggle off a horse's price?

What sort of amount does ONO, or OVNO make you think you can knock the seller down by?

Does the current market make you think you can be a little more fierce at wearing sellers down?

Thoughts?

Don't seem to be very good at haggling!! Badger and the previous horse I bought were both up for £3000 and got them both for £2800. They were both bought from hunting friends though so not as easy to be cheeky, also think they were both reasonably priced in the first place.

I think it all depends on original price as well. Have found with recent house buying that over priced houses will come down more than ones that seem to be a bargain.

I'm all for a bargain!

ETS - 10% is acceptable I think, if not over priced.
