How much do you pay for lessons?

wow reading all these costs of lessons, i pay £35.00 for an hour on my own with YO and if it more than just me then i pay £25 if it is one of the yard girls provte i pay 20 pound and 15 in a group lesosn

£20 ph on my horse, and she comes to me.

She's brilliant, and has taught me sooooo much ! Worth every penny!

Our yard charges £17 for an hours group lesson whether you are on your own horse or one of theirs. However, I just paid £15 to be in a group of 5 jumping clinic with an international event rider who came in for the day

I'm not having lessons at the moment but last year when I was I was paying £36 for 45 minutes dressage and £45 for showjumping (not set time, as long as the horse needed)

when I was getting lessons at a riding stables it was £22 for an hour group lesson £25 for a 1/2 hr individual lesson (with senior instructor) and £31 for 45 min individual (with senior instructor)

Now I have my own pony I pay £17 for a 1/2 hour individual lesson, at my yard, with a brillient instructor. I've only had two lessons with her, but each time she gives me excersises to work on, so only having a lesson every once in a while isnt too bad, as I have homework to do the rest of the time!

With my jump trainer its £40 he competes up to 2* level and my flat work trainer is £50 for 45 minutes GULP!

i pay £35 for 45mins with Andrew Gould and i go every couple of weeks. I also train with Kay Waterman and i go to her every couple of weeks with my mare, altho not so much at the mo - shes £37.50 for 45mins. However i think shes £45 for 45mins with other people. I take my horses to them.

I'm in Devon. I pay £15 for a group lesson (usually only 2 but sometimes 6) or £20 on a Saturday for daughter to have a group lesson and stable management/PC tests or whatever is going on that day. (for my daughter).

I pay £11 for 40 mins if I box to there place with all weather riding areana. Or another person charges £18 for 40 mins if they come to me to school on a grass field. Hope this helps..

I used to pay £5.50 about 15 years ago! but i recently booked a lesson at my local riding school as i dont own horses any more - that cast £14 for an hour (not that we actually did anything in that hour)
