all my dogs only have puppy jabs as i used to work in a vets i saw many cases of fully vaccinated dogs still getting the diseases and it killing them so i questioned the vet about the need for boosters and was told whether its done or not the animal can still get it to the same degree. hence why mine dont have boosters, rightly or wrongly, but i will always make sure they have the first lot to build up their immunity

Good for you, dogs don't need yearly vaccinations, I have mine titre tested and none of the adults I have rehomed have ever needed boosters having had initial puppies plus. More vets, boarding kennels and training groups are now accepting titres as legitimate proof of cover. Some accept that high titres are good for 2 years!!!
I have one to be tested later this year as part of a survey, who has only had puppies and was tested at 2yrs 4 mts and did not need vaccinating. In fact he had come into contact with Parvo and had really high antibodies when tested, so could have been really ill as a result of a multi vacc ontop of that.
Even this site http://www.provet.co.uk/health/diseases/dogvaccines.htm#a suggests yearlys are not required!!

I think at the vets we take our JRTs to they only do boosers every 3 years, but the way they are spread out it means you still have an annual visit to the vets. Ours have their puppy vaccinations and then their first booster. What sort of costs are the titres?
