My trailer is parked at my yard in a little space between a barn and a brick wall so it is not visible from the road but bl@@dy awkward to get in and out. I do not have to pay anything to leave it there. In the past I have paid from £2.50 p/w to £5.00 p/w.
Nothing for parking mine at the yard, but I will have to move it up to their other yard 3 miles up the road for the winter, as it gets really boggy with the tractors driving around. Bit of a pain to go and have to grab the trailer before going out to compete, but hey it's free
£12 a month. Parked out of sight behind someones house and deliberately awkward to get at. Takes a bit of huffing and puffing but myself and another livery prefer to stick our trailers well away. The others have easier options but are more visible.
We keep ours at home, but the equestrian/centre livery round the corner from me does outdoor storage - trailers are £10 p/week if its a short-term thing, or £100 for a year. Small horseboxes are £120 p/year and bigger ones are £150. They apparently have undercover storage but not a clue how much they charge for that.
I don't pay for mine to be on hardstanding in my yard but I would if it were on the farm on concrete - £20 pcm i think was what we talked about before we decided on hardstanding instead
My trailer is parked in a locked yard for free - and it was the same at my last yard. Hope my YO doesn't read this thread and get the idea that she should be charging me!! Can't believe how much some of you have to pay.
