How much do you think my trailers' worth?

It's an IW 505. > 10yrs old. Had a new floor 3-4yrs ago.
Had a new side fitted 3yrs ago also.

The ramp has got an additional layer of ply as existing material had rotted at the bottom and the right hand wall has also.

It's regularly serviced as far as brakes, wheel bearings, greasing all moving parts etc.

It leaks in the rain so has a tarpaulin wedged inside the back top doors to protect the inside of the ramp and floor.

Any ideas?

Well when I went looking for a second hand trailer a few years ago I was appalled at how expensive relatively old trailers were.

I have a really old Westphalia (about 15 years) which is insured for £1,200. Yours would surely be worth £2,000?

I have just found a trailer after months of searching the small ads! I now consider myself to be an expert on such matters!

I would say £1,800 - £2,000 for a 505.

What? One that leaks through the back doors in the rain, and has bits of ply wood added to the inside of the ramp and right hand wall because they've rotted through?

Surely not?

I've just enquired about buying the coloured board for the ramp and a new side wall, that's more than £300 just for that material.

I could probably replace the ramp board myself but the side wall would be beyond my DIY skills.
