How much does everyone pay for shavings?

I've just ordered a load for Monday and they have gone up from £4.60 to £5.75 a bale delivered - is that still good?

Yes - very. The cheapest near us all winter were about 5 quid - and they sold out quickly. I stopped buying them when they got to nearly £8 a bale and changed to wood pellets - only £2.50 for the equivalent amount!

Cor blimey, I thought he was jumping on the bandwagon, will have to remember to be extra nice to him when he delivers, I only buy twice a year in bulk and it was a bit of a shock

thanks all, think the reason my guy is a bit cheaper is that he is attached to a sawmill so I presume cuts down costs a bit. It's good stuff though, not dusty and he is always on time
