Your friend should become the next Haydn Price (Carl Hester's and Team GB farrier), he charges £200-£250 a set![]()
Thanks all for the posts!
YasandCrystal, thanks for your concern. And thanks to my friend for originally posting this thread, I am working atm and on my phone so she posted to help me out.
I realise the costs associated with farriery, I work as an apprentice farrier already with the American Farriery Association under a Journeyman Farrier. I'm looking at returning to the UK and am interested in how the market is looking over there as I've been so out of the loop now.
I'm at a juncture now, deciding whether to convert to a UK license or not.
Um, is your friend just interested in how much they can earn, or genuinely interested in the career? Sorry, it just seems a strange question to ask at the outset.
Thanks all for the posts!
