How much for 30 acres?

Ok we are in Surrey, land has not been used for some time up for rent offers invited, grazing resonable, pay for water. We need to do some repairs on fencing hedging.

Not sure re: rent but to sell in surrey depending on the quality of grazing, location ect you would be looking at 5-10k per acre. Recent land in farnham went for 12k per acre, but the land did have off road hacking and was probably sold to neighbours who would have paid a premium anyway

That might help you work out the rent if you want to rent the land as a whole?

Or if you want to do it like a DIY livery thing, Grazing round here seems to be between £60 and £150 per month per horse

i would say 10 pound a week per acre, so 1200 pcm or there abouts.

If you go on agricultural rates it would be between £80 - 130 acre/year. I would ring a local land agents or ask some farmers in your area.

I pay £120 per acre per year, for this area its actually quite a lot!

Thanks guys I did ask a farmer friend and he seems to think its £50 per acre per year. Oh well have to wait and see. Thanks again for replies.
