Promise this is not a how much/what about my ad post!!

I am really struggling trying to value my horse. Having to sell as moving abroad and i don't think the climate will suit him.

He's a 9 year old ISH gelding. Lovely nature, does well at unaff dressage (placed every time out and qualified for badminton grass roots dressage thing this year). Showjumping he's never spooky and clearing 1.10m at home (1m in a course) with a numpty rider (me). Just started BE80's (now done 2) with dressage in mid 30's and clear XC.

I bought him for £4k as a 6 year old. I was going to put him up for similar, but friend said he should be at least £6k.

Only real issue is he's not reliable to load on his own. Goes straight in 80% of time but when he doesn't want to can take 20-30 mins. Will load like a lamb every time with another horse in.

He is fit and competing currently.

any thoughts???

I think £6k is a bit much in the current climate but he does sound worth 6k! As a competition horse is he registered BE, could you affiliate BD or do you not have the time? Otherwise as a safe allrounder I would ask 6k and be prepared to take 5.5k :)
