I have a few horses, which i adore spending time with and exercising etc. I have my “main horse” but i have decided it’s time to get the others their own person / people.

How much is the going rate for loaning in East Mids area? I have my own private yard with a couple of full liveries, stables, grass schooling paddock ( PP for menage), close to local shows and amazing hacking. I would like to keep the horses at home with me where I can keep up their mucking out and daily care.

I have a 8 year old mini cob mare, quiet and loving, and a 19 year old trotter who is so calm and caring. They’re both originally rescues and i have put a lot of time and love into them. They’re both suitable for hacking, schooling, having fun on, and potential for going on outings / days out / shows etc in my box.

How much would the going rate be to charge? They cost approximately £100 p/m inc insurance, feeds, feet, dentist, vet. These horses thrive off 5/6 days a week in work, is it best to have 2 sharers each or 1 loaner?

If you are loaning and they are not to move yard, then you charge the loaner livery or part thereof.
From reading your post, it appears that you are looking to share these 2 which means you have full control. The sharer would do x amount of days and usually they'd be charged per day, plus possibly doing chores for 'their' horse on their days.

My part loaners pay £20 a week, they exercise one or both of my ponies three days a week and bring them both in/skip out/put them both to bed the evenings that they have them.
I count myself very lucky to have found them and the £20 is a token amount for me- it’s not about the money, it’s more finding the right family to gel with me and mine.
