Seen a really nice Shogun for sale- it has no towbar though, which is probably a good thing as I know it won't have been hammered too much- anyone know (roughly) how much to have a towbar fitted before I go mental and make an appointment to go and have a look?

Cheers:D

I had one fitted to my Jeep a couple of months ago, it cost me £250. I had a pukka good quality one fitted though.

Get a few quotes because some places charge stupid money for fitting tow bars, it's a good money earner for a mechanic (both with fitting and recomending certain tow bars) ;) ;)

Have you tried the 4x4 place at Knottingly and also at Whitley Bridge?

No mate- not done anything yet - just wanted a rough 'guestimate' before I even go bother have a look at the Shogun.

Might given them a ring though.....

I do love my Disco but it really is a shed- my sons mates immortalised it in a school play- the random electric windows have them in hysterics:D Its dented to buggery - Zak Dingle possibly wouldn't get in it:eek:

I paid 300 when I had mine fitted but they had to bash the dent out the bumper first - it was fitted to an estate.

I bought a towbar for our Paj off the internet and my OH fitted it himself. It was a really easy job... shouldn't think it's much different for a Shogun. I think the towbar was around £75 with delivery (we already had a towball) and came with all the relevant bolts etc.
