I am trying to find out how much i should be paying for grazing. Have been quoted £250/acre in south yorkshire for a small paddock no frills (no stable/water connection etc). Any advice/ opinions?!

maybe a stupid question but are u asking for rent or to buy?
I pay £350/month for 8 acres.. no stables but field shelters, water, excellent location and well fenced. It was up for sale a while back for £120 000 if that helps too?

and what is the time frame? £250 per acre for how long - a month, a year???
I lease almost 4 acres from the local council and it's £700 for a 10 month lease. I am responsible for all fencing and paid to have water laid on. Not allowed any short of shelters/sheds etc without permission from the council but I can't afford them anyway so that's not relevant.
I replied to a local ad for 4 acres plus 3 stables with power and water but they wanted £400 a month
