How much for insurance (and how to get a FREE Amigo Bug Rug!)

Im due to renew Lance's insurance soon, Im not sure how much to set his value at, given his age, so if you guys could give me an idea I would be grateful.

Also anyone who is thinking about taking out Petplan insurance, (thats who Im going with) if you plan to take it out before Sep 30th then PM me as I know how you can get a free Amigo Bug Rug.

Anyway horse stats:

16.2hh Black Latvian Warmblood
18yrs old

Competed up to medium level eventing & dressage.

Won lots! Very careful XC, excels at dressage.

Schoolmaster.

Great to hack alone or in company, good in traffic.

Sweet temperment, good to do in all ways.

Not total novice ride as can take the mick if he knows you arent up to scratch. doesnt do anything bad, just a bit lazy!

I would say £3000 but what do I know!! By the way, because he is over 15 it will veteran insurance so check out that there is not a limit on value. xx
 
My 18yo who has won £300+ BSJA, 80BD (not competed for a year) up to Med and is working Adv Med/Adv at home is insured for £3200 with NFU although they did ask if I wanted to drop his value this year and they would reassess last year.

However, my lad is a complete SM and has taught my OH all dressage movements. Wouldn't say novice ride as he can be spooky.
 
Nothing to suggest on his value, but just wanted to say that Lance is INCREDIBLE-looking. That first picture, particularly, is quite jaw-dropping. Beautiful, beautiful horse.

Thank you so much, that was about a fortnight ago. I think he is gorgeous but of course Im biased.
