How much for sedation?

Well Sparky got sedated last week to be clipped which all went well etc but our bill is VERY expensive for just a sedation!!
It was £60 inc. VAT and travel etc but when we last had a horse sedated twice it only cost £40 inc. VAT etc. Is this price the norm now or just and expensive vet?

Okay thats okay then - Just seems to have gone up since last time

Sounds about right. Makes clipping very expensive! Hope you don't have to re-clip too much this winter! My friends horse is a nightmare so she rugs her before the winter coat grows and she doesn't produce a winter coat at all. She always looks so glossy in mid winter!
