How much is a 7.5T horsebox worth?

I'm thinking of changing my horse lorry but have no idea how much it would be worth to start advertising. Is there any guidance anywhere or is it just a case of it's worth what someone would pay for it?

An old B reg wooden body Bedford (probably overweight before any horses on) about £1000
A brand new coachbuilt Oakley box with all mod cons (hot water hosed to horses, sat nav, etc etc.) you could probably happily pay £100,000

How long is a piece of string?

Best to look on line for ads similar to the box you have and see what they are going for.

Best thing to do is look at ads of lorries the same age and condition as yours and get some sort of idea as to average asking prices

Without an mot, worth about £750 odd for parts or scrap. With an mot, £2k to infinity!!
