600 euros in holland and that includes 21 X-rays..you get what you pay for as I don't think a UK basic 5 star gives you a real indication of any serious or potentially problematic damage.. I was about to buy a horse and the xrays showed up very early navicular ..in the UK I would have gone ahead and ended up with a possible major problem... i would always now get x-rays if I am spending over 5K on a horse......
Thank you to everyone - hopefully being vetted this week. Potential horse is under 1000 but my friend has just had to have her previous horse pts due to multiple joint issues so is obviously worried about soundness. We trotted him up quite a few times when trying him, as well as a pretty fast trot hack, and absolutly no signs of lameness but he's being vetted to be sure. He's only 4 but is an ex-racer (only raced 4 times on flat as a 4 year old tho so not loads) and very sweet
