hi, im changing insurance companies and have decided to re evaluate how much my horse should be covered for. i have no idea of his worth, can i have some opinions please on if i was 2 sell him , how much hed b worth? thanks

brill 2 do , clip, load, catch etc etc
competeing novice dressage u/a, getting over 60%
huge scopey jump, many wins u/a SJ
team chased
bold XC, going to register for BE next season.
excellent out hunting
also is trick trained to bow, lie down etc
no vices, apart from mild headshaking in summer
Any ideas?
 
Depends really on what cover you want? If insuring for loss of use then i would guess at £5000 but depends on cover level. Also if u insure for over 5k insurance companies want a 5 stage vetting certificate
 
Depends if you want Loss of use or money back if God forbid anything happends to him...

I dont (and cant afford to) pay high insurance every month because Bruce is insured for the pricely sum of £500. I know he is covered should he need vet care however I will be at a loss if anything happens to him.

I pay £20 per month,

Whereas my friends horse is insured for £8000 (which is also less than his worth) with LOU and she pays £90 per month x
 
i want to insure for loss of use, in case the worst happens, god forbid. i just have no idea of his worth in money as bought him sevarl years ago
