how much is my horse worth

i have a 13 yr old cob on loan at the moment but wanting to buy her. she has only been in a riding school and was taken out of it for bucking and not bein suitable and she is unable to be ridden in open spaces however hacks alone or in company. she would have no tack or rugs with her so its just the horse ill be buying but shes also never had any vaccinations or teeth or saddle fitted. how much would she be worth as they have sed they would like £1500 for her.

Does she jump? Well schooled at all?

Also how does she hack if she cannot be ridden in open spaces?

I wouldn't pay more than about 1k for a horse like you've described, unless she is well mannered and a nice ride apart from the bucking, and is suitable for RC activities.

Taking into account her age, the bucking issue, not safe in open spaces, and no apparent competition record, I think she would be hard pushed to make £750 - £1000 on the open market....

what does she do in open spaces? does she jump/school?
more importantly what do you want to do, are you happy just hacking on the roads or would you like to do more ie hacking in fields, poss sponsored etc) If so atm you could get a safe hack for quite a good price!

£800 max, they are plenty of good horses out there with less problems being practically given away. I wouldn't pay £1500 for a horse that can't be ridden in an open space.

I didn't pay anything near that for my much younger cob who can most certainly be ridden in open spaces!!
