How much is my saddle worth?

17.5inch medium Albion SLK. Black. I paid £850 but that was about 5 years ago. Was second hand then so not too sure how old it is.

I would look on eBay and a few other second hand sites to get a rough idea of what they are going for.

Have done that. Anything between £150 and £1000 and I can’t tell the difference between them.

Ask Sheepham Saddlery.
i asked if they would buy a certain saddle off me and she declined but says she could sell it for commission and suggested a price to sell it at. It might be worth asking anyway.

Sheepham are fab. It normally depends on the age though, a lot of places won’t sell on anything over 10 years old now

I’m not sure how old. I have had it 5 years and was second hand. I can’t find a serial number on it. Also put on eBay as there was a “no final fees” promotion on. However where do I buy ONE XL box? I can only get 5.

We just bought 5 off amazon. The serial number is normally stamped on the flap where the stirrup leathers rest. I’m not sure if it’s the same for all brands but it’s the last two digits you refer to to get the year it was manufactured. Ie ‘123409’ is 2009.
