I'm selling my mare, and I was just wondering how much I should advertise her for.

Monica is a 13.2hh showjumping mare. She jumps up to 1.10m tracks but has scope to go bigger, and could easily re-affiliate. Affiliated with previous owners. She is 11yrs old, and has taken her rider from 2ft courses, to 3ft 6 courses. She is not a novice ride, as can be strong, but is ridden in a snaffle. In competitions I used to ride her in a dutch gag, however I recently have been riding her soley in a snaffle (last picture most recent picture) and she is very responsive in it. She has been ridden by a 7 year old, and didn't put a foot wrong, however when competiting can get overally enthusiastic. She never stops or runs out, and is brilliant at XC. Got 8th out of 33 on first XC - smallest ride there, and would have placed if rider not have taken the wrong course and crossed her lines. Latest XC went clear, however it was closest to the optimum time and she went under by 30 seconds due to her eagerness. Didn't stop or slow throughout the course (last picture). She can live out all year round, and is fine to clip, bath, load, hack alone or in company. She has been ridden by a capable 11 year old, who she has helped gain confidence over jumps.

Here are some pictures:

Personally would see if you can get on the affiliated jumping circuit and doing well then you could get good money esp if she can do the bigger 138 tracks.Do find showjumping kids(or maybe thats their parents) don't mind quirks so much if can do the job and win - well up here anyway have seen some nutty little ponies go round with wee toots on their backs

I would do a couple of bsja classes on her these will be full up courses and stand better for potential buyers, the 1.05 class in your pics looks no bigger than 2'6" real competitors would like to see bigger jumping piccies.
Good luck with her she looks to have a lovely jump

Gee that long since daughter done ponies memory fails me and can't find rule book!
If remember some were up to 1.15/1.20(but can't remember if 2/3rd round went to 1.30) but get hold of current BSJA rule book should tell you on there.

She is registered at BSJA under the name MONICA II, although she is registered on her passport with Monica of the Glen, as her previous owners lost her passport, yet affiliated her before doing so. She is a JD grade pony with winnings with her last owners. She is a new forest x and she is starting to go into a frame when doing dressage, and she can do leg yeilding, half pass and full pass on occasions. She can also do canter lead changes, as well as halt/walk to canter and vice versa.
