Why not offer them £950? If she has good enough conformation, etc...she could make a great riding horse.
Agreed - although i'd go in with £850 and go up to £950 if i really liked her.
I paid £1800 for a yearling (5yrs ago though with good AES breeding) and it's the best thing i did, she'll never be sold, so to me she was worth it
Go with your gut feeling when you go and see her![]()
Ah, but she would be a 15hh weight carrier, and probably very quiet with her being quarter horse cross Irish cob. That's a very nice practical riding horse. Strong, enduring, should be pretty fast and agile with the quarter horse blood too.
And the cob side should give her lots of lovely flowing mane/tail/feather...and she's a palomino to boot! Something flashy too...another plus!
I would say resale wise - if you could bear to part with her - she could fetch £1500 plus once she's broken and riding, more if she has a bit of experience or shows any special talent.
I'm basing my numbers on what I would pay for any horse in today's economic climate. And at the moment, I wouldn't pay more than that for a freshly broken and riding horse. Some people might, but I was raised to be rather thrifty![]()
oh bless, I love how her front legs are white above the knees![]()
And if you do buy her we want lots of pictures![]()
