How much length and width in my horsebox

Hi I have a 7.5t horsebox horse area 12'6" long 8' wide and 7'10" high I have a 17h horse in 7ft rugs the lorry has velux x 3 6 windows in horse area but he seems claustrophobic my herringbone partitions are diagonal and box is currently set up to carry 3 (with 2 partitions) i have had one tack locker taken down to literally the width of a bridle how long and wide should i make his partitioned area to give him maximum space safely please? I was thinking of taking one partition out to make more room as the other horse that would sometimes travel with him is only 16h or do you think he should have the whole area and just travel him alone? But then im worried he won't have the stability of the partitions help please?

There should be more than enough room for the two of them. I’d remove a partition to give the big one more space and travel him on a slightly more acute angle with head facing more towards rear.
