My cob has developed very clicky arthritc hind legs within the past 4 months and the vet believes he has spavins. He has been kept in light work purely consisting of walking hacks and I did have him on linseed oil but he went off it. I now have a big sack of linseed meal but wasnt sure how much to feed. I want to feed enough to bring the benefits to his joints but not any addition to his waistline
a cob who could live off fresh air!
Any ideas on amounts? he lives out 24/7 and has a handful of hi fibre nuts am and pm to get his respiratory supplement into him and in the winter 1 slice of soaked hay am and pm. As soon as the green grass returns he's muzzled!
