How much money should I give my friend??

I need to give my horse a blanket clip but yard won't clip him until he's out of isolation in 2 weeks and he is extremely hairy now. They also wanted to charge nearly £40. A friend said I could borrow hers and I said thanks I will give her the money for blades to be sharpened.

How much should I give her? Thanks

how much is it to get the blade sharpened? round here - hampshire, its between 7-12 so i'd give her that+ a god will gesture - bottle of wine or box of chocolates or something?

£10 will cover resharpening, £15 is generous and covers the wear and tear.

I would pay £15 to ensure you got them again if required.

I'd give cost plus a bottle. She won't be out of pocket, she'll be grateful for a gift and it will still cost half of what you would be paying.
