Grazing in a 6 acre field (split in two), water in one half, not the other (so you have to lug it across the field yourself - not fun when it's muddy!), which has one (really, really cheap) stable, which leaks and is drafty, to use when necessary? There is no electricity at all.

Monthly rent is per horse, not for the entire land.

About £50 - would depend where in the country it is though, where I am in London/Surrey it would be about £100 a month.

My thoughts exactly!!!

We currently pay £60, which is more than most local to me, and they want to push it up even further - I am expecting about £70 - £80.

Madness.

Local livery right next door is £90 per month, incl. stabling, elec, sand school, cross country course etc!

WTF - per horse ??? thats daft - lol

get to the livery next door !!!

grss livery per horse is never usually more than a tenner a week

robbers!! thing is - they will charge that and get away with doing so as there is always someone will to pay for it - esp if its cheaper than DIY - people are always trying to do things on the cheap I suppose - (dont mean that in a rude way mind
