How much pay??

I have been asked to do holiday cover next year for a D.I.Y. Livery Yard as Yard Manager.
This might mean doing nothing ! Or of course it could cover things like light bulb changing , fence repairs, answering clients questions, broken water pipes, power cuts . and any other trauma that occurrs in a yard!
It would not include collecting client payments, muck heap removal or harrowing the arena.

I have no idea what to charge the owner!

Any ideas ?

i would find out first what you would be responsible for doing on the yard ect? then think about what you would like to earn per hour and put it forward. i worked on a very nice livery yard last year and the YM was on about £6.90ph
they are obviously interested otherwise would not have asked you . xx
