How much per acre

...for the crop off the field I won't be using this summer. Any idea? My normal contractor is interested, either to take hay or two cuts of silage, he wants to know how much I will be looking for. Decent grass, very few weeds, fairly fertile as we have spread muck on it every year and I sprayed it last year to get rid of buttercups.
Otherwise I will ask local agents what they would be looking for.

if ya work it out at 4 round bales an acre average round bale price for hay £30 and go from there not too sure about silage price but i would also factor in damage to the ground if they are wanting to do silage just with the extra wheelings and not needing the ground to be that dry
